Manager Local Content- iTaukei Language

Job Description

The Fijian Broadcasting Corporation is Fiji's largest media company providing radio and television services in the country. The FBC today operates a network of six radio stations; two in each of the three major languages (i-Taukei, Hindustani and English). FBC also has three television channels (FBCTV, FBC2 and FBC Sports HD).

The Manager Local Content - iTaukei Language is to lead a team to create locally relevant compelling content that preserves language, culture, tradition, values etc. of the iTaukei Community.

  • Produce new innovative local programs.
  • Manage, produce and direct live and recorded events, and programs as per production schedule.
  • Lead, mentor and coach producers on production and post-production assignments.
  • Provide timely updates to the Executive Team.
  • Execute annual schedule of training needs for producers.
