Financial Accountant
Job Description
SUN Insurance (SUN) Company Limited is the only Fiji owned and operated General Insurance Company listed recently on SPX. With a network of agents and branches spread across Fiji Islands we aspire to be the one stop shop for all General Insurance needs for all Fijians.
The Financial Accountant is responsible for maintaining overall financial operations of the company and ensuring accurate and timely preparation of the financial reports. This role reports to the Manager Finance and Company Secretary.

Work Knowledge and Experience
- Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards / GAAP and how these apply to SUN Insurance
- Relevant working experience of at least 8 years with more than 5 years in a leadership / supervisory role.
- Proven leadership and management abilities / skills.
- Demonstrated Audit experience will be an advantage.
- Thorough knowledge and demonstrated ability in the development of annual budgets.
