Assistant Process Engineer


Job Description

In August 2012, Southern Cross Foods acquired Fiji Dairy Ltd - Fiji’s National Dairy Company. Based in Suva, the dairy plant manufactures a range of dairy products including pasteurised milk, UHT Milk, powdered milk, butter, yoghurts, cheese, fresh and sour cream, and various other flavoured dairy products. In addition to the running of the dairy plant, Fiji Dairy Limited is actively involved in establishing and promoting ‘best-practice’ dairy farms to help local farmers get better yield and better quality milk

The Manufacturing Process Engineer is responsible for continuous improvement of work process and equipment at Fiji Dairy Pte Limited.This position reports to the General Manager, Fiji Diary Pte Limited.

Work Knowledge and Experience

  1. Minimum of five years' work experience in process engineering or similar capacity
  2. Knowledge in Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety Management, HACCP, ISO standards
  3. Analytical thinking ability and proper communication skills
  4. Computer literate and good documentation skills
