Job Description

Fiji Airports Pte Limited trading as Fiji Airports (FA) is a fully Government-owned Commercial Company (GCC). The company was established on 12 April 1999 under the Public Enterprise Act, 1996. It was formed following the reorganisation of the Civil Aviation Authority of Fiji (CAAF). FA owns and operates Nadi International Airport and manages Nausori Airport including 13 other domestic outer island airports on behalf of the Government. It also provides Air Traffic Management (ATM) services in the Nadi Flight Information Region (Nadi FIR (Flight Information Region)). This includes the air space of Fiji, Tuvalu, New Caledonia, Kiribati and Vanuatu, covering an area of 6.0 million square kilometers. FA is governed by its Board and reports to the Prime Minister and Minister for Public Enterprises.

The Manager Projects is responsible for overseeing the delivery of Fiji Airports’ capital and operational projects, ensuring projects are planned, coordinated, and controlled to achieve approved scope, time, cost, safety, and compliance outcomes while managing impacts on live airport operations. This role reports to the Senior Project Manager.

Work Knowledge and Experience

  1. At least 7 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Project Management, or a Diploma with 10 years of practical project delivery experience.
  2. Experience in managing large, multi-stakeholder, and safety-critical projects.
  3. Proven experience in Contract Administration and Project Management.
  4. Demonstrated experience in managing large, multi-stakeholder, and safety-critical projects with successful project management capabilities; experience in scoping and supervising on building services systems is desirable.
  5. A valid driver’s licence
